When viewing a vehicle you'll see 'Settings' in the left sidebar.
The first thing you'll see is 'Vehicle Status' which has a number of restrictions depending on the vehicle status - this is because it's important to follow the correct processes to change the status.
To publish a draft vehicle for sale go to the 'Sales Channels' section and select 'Save & Publish' - you don't have to enable any sales channels.
To mark a for sale vehicle as sold. go to the 'Sell Vehicle' section, create an invoice and mark as paid.
To mark sold vehicles as complete. go to the 'Sell Vehicle' section and 'Mark as Complete'.
To cancel the sale of a sold vehicle, credit the invoice, then select 'Cancel Sale' in the 'Sell Vehicle' section.
To make a for sale vehicle a draft, the for sale vehicle must first be removed from sales channels before it can then be changed to draft.
You're also able to choose whether the vehicle is a 'Featured Vehicle' - featured vehicles can then be shown via the website 'New Arrivals' module to highlight them ahead of your latest vehicles.
You can also choose whether or not the price is on display always, or whether the price is only available after a customer shows interest using the Price On Application option.
This page shows the current, default URL for this particular vehicle listing on your website, and you can edit this here if you wish.
Your 'Vehicle Highlights' are designed to override any choices made in the 'Vehicle Information' website module. If all highlights are left unchecked the website will display the vehicle highlights chosen in the vehicle information module.
If you want a certain vehicle to display a different set of 'Vehicle Highlights' to that of other vehicles on your website, this is where you would come to set a specific set of vehicle highlights to show on the website.
You can also choose here whether to disable certain website settings. You may not want this particular vehicle to have the option to 'Buy Online' or to have a viewing arranged for it, in which case you can check the 'Buy Online' or 'Viewings' checkboxes under 'Disable Website Settings'.
Your AutoTrader settings apply as long as your account is linked with AutoTrader.
If you wish to exclude any information from your AutoTrader ad, such as the number of previous owners/keys, you can simply click any of the checkboxes underneath 'Exclude From Advert'.
To change a vehicle's registration (number plate), for example from a personalised registration to the original, simply go to that vehicle's Settings section. Towards the bottom of the vehicle's Settings section you will find the Change Registration feature which allows you to update the registration, and to retrieve up-to-date data for the vehicle.
When changing the registration the core vehicle data will be updated and therefore it is important to check the data after changing the registration - non-vehicle data like the description and images will not be affected.
