Vehicle Quick Check

MotorDesk allows you to quickly check the details, history and valuation of a vehicle using just the vehicle registration.

Under your Vehicles menu, choose Quick Check and enter the registration of the vehicle you're looking to find out information for.

Confirm that the initial vehicle details are correct.

At the top of the next page, you'll have a vehicle summary.

Below this enter the vehicle mileage and condition and then press Get Valuation to retrieve valuation data. Note you can scroll down to the Optional Extras section will affect the valuation that you receive.

Next you'll be given information on the background of the vehicle and an MOT history.

If there is no MOT history, you'll see no data.

Finally you have a fixed list of standard features and technical specifications, as well as an editable list of Optional Extras which you can select to form part of the vehicle valuation.

In the Background section, you can press Calculate Tax Cost and be linked to the relevant area of the HMRC website.
