Selling Multiple Vehicles At Once

The best way to sell and invoice for multiple vehicles in MotorDesk is to use the Batch Invoice feature. Note: This is for selling multiple vehicles to a single contact.

You can find the Batch Invoice option at the top of your Sales -> Invoices section or in the left-hand menu of any Sales section.

Start by adding the customer. Their name will appear as you begin to type it.


You'll see a list of your vehicles for sale from the Add Vehicle drop-down menu. You're able to choose as many of these as you like and each vehicle will have it's own sales invoice


Choose which VAT type each vehicle is to be sold under and make any necessary price adjustments.


You will then have the chance to make the same edits you would to a regular sales invoice such as selecting the invoice date, adding notes and terms & conditions, requesting electronic signatures and allowing credit/debit card payments.

Press Create Invoices when you've finished editing.


You will see that your invoices have now been created.


When it comes to issuing these invoices, you can issue them both at once or one at a time. Just untick any invoice accordingly. MotorDesk will confirm exactly which invoices you are issuing before going ahead.


You're then able to email both of them to the customer by pressing Email or take payment on both at once by pressing Mark as Paid.


The multiple invoices will appear in your Sales -> Invoices section as normal.
