Setting Up Your MOTORS Feed

Go to Business -> Sales Channels.

Choose MOTORS from the drop-down menu.

Once you have selected MOTORS from the drop-down menu, you will have two options that you can enable before you click the blue 'Connect Channel' button.

Email Set-Up Request

Enabling this will automatically send an email to MOTORS on your behalf, requesting that they set-up your feed so it's ready to use. It is recommended that you leave this option enabled. If you choose to disable it, you will need to manually contact MOTORS and request for them to set-up your feed using your feed ID.

Note, to establish the feed, you must have at least 1 vehicle that is ready to be published to a sales channel. This will automatically be published for you if you choose to enable the setting above.


Request Leads & Chat Email Change

Enabling this will automatically request for MOTORS to send any of your leads to your : contact@yourdomain email address. This means if you receive an MOTORS lead, it will appear in your Leads & Chat system within MotorDesk.

You can now click the blue 'Connect Channel' button.

If you had chosen to enable the settings above, you have now completed the set-up process. Note, it may take a short amount of time for the feed to be established on MOTORS side of things.


If you have chosen not to enable the 'Email Set-Up Request' setting, you must now continue following the guide till the end.

You will now be given your 'Feed ID', which you need to send to your account manager at MOTORS.

You MUST first publish a vehicle to this sales channel, otherwise MOTORS will not be able to establish the feed. Go to Vehicles -> Advertising to do so (or press 'Publish All' vehicles next to the sales channel feed).

If you need to check your Feed ID again at any point, just go back to Business -> Sales Channels and press 'Details'.
