Received an AutoTrader enquiry but can't see it on your MotorDesk Leads & Chat system?
There are two likely scenarios which may cause this:
This is the most common problem for AutoTrader enquiries not appearing in your MotorDesk Leads & Chat system.
If a lead has come through via AutoTrader, and it has no message attached to it, it will not be fed through to your Leads & Chat System. However, it will appear as a Deal.
To view your deals, you must first have the 'Online Check-out & Deal Builder' feature enabled. You can do so by navigating to here.
Once enabled, these AutoTrader leads will come through to here and you will be able to view them.
While MotorDesk pulls in leads from AutoTrader almost instantly, there can be an issue when the lead is accessed within AutoTrader Portal before it has a chance to be pulled through to MotorDesk. When this happens, the lead status can change in AutoTrader, and the MotorDesk system may temporarily ignore the lead, and it will not be pulled through.
MotorDesk does however do a 'check' at the end of every hour, to try to pull through any missed leads. Before contacting support, please wait until the end of the current hour to see if your lead will be pulled through for you.
